This situation causes a rise in the number of people affected by floods. Vanishing glaciers, also linked to climate change, cause nowadays floods in geographic areas which used to be spared until now.

Dryup Technology has developed a whole set of systems which is upending the traditional construction techniques.

This technological achievement, which consists in a creative elevation of the building, helps deal with floods and avoid water damage.

Safety
for the users

at the time of the elevation of the building when the flood occurs. Thanks to its system of sliding columns, the system will activate itself and protect the building from the flood, whether there are people in the building or not.

Stand-alone

in case of severe and unexpected floods (with power outage for example). Our system insures an optimal performance of all devices necessary for a smooth roll-out of the sliding columns.

Applicable to all types of light construction

(residential, retail shops, care facilities, schools, factories, military facilities, etc.). The only limitation to put in place this system is the limit of weight that it can withstand (which corresponds in general to 5-floor buildings).

Smart thanks to its cutting-edge technology

which allows the accurate detection of seismic events. In the event of an earthquake, the device is equipped with a digital motion sensor for seismic movements which will activate the elevation mechanisms until the building reaches the adequate height.

This device provides a great advantage: it can be removed if necessary, particularly if there is a need to move the building. In very rare cases, it may be required to use concrete on foundations when the ground does not provide the minimum conditions of security and stability. The Dryup Technology system is an extremely high-performing system, which means that most buildings do not require the use of concrete.

Risk management

All our equipment is fitted with telecommunication systems (GSM / Satellite) directly linked to a Dryup Technology management center. Our management center’s main goal is to check regularly the smooth functioning of all the electronic and mechanical devices on the network.

This process helps reporting to the management center any potential technical failures that would have occurred on the equipment and allows a dedicated or authorized maintenance team to intervene as soon as possible in order to maintain operation continuity.

Ensuring the protection of local populations against tsunamis

ELEVATING SURVIVAL PLATFORM

Based on the same process, Dryup Technology has also developed a range of systems dedicated to the protection of the people living in coastal areas from tsunamis.

This device comprises an elevating platform that can, in some cases, reach up to 15 meters of height and designed to hold 1 000 persons. We provide as well the survival kit, including in terms of telecommunications GSM and satellite, should the extreme weather continue.

SURVIVAL PASSENGER COMPARTMENT

Dryup Technology develops a system of elevating columns on survival passenger compartments intended for civil protection services or the armed forces.

Our equipment can be airlifted easily for worse-case scenarios, which is a great plus: the compartments can be airlifted and dropped-off by helicopters, even on irregular terrain, because our system has a ground-levelling function.
